Myself, my memories: families workshop

Client: Carriageworks
Artist: Salote Tawale
Date: 9 December 2023

FLENK collective created the workshop ‘Myself, my memories’ for families to deeply engage with artworks in Salote Tawale’s exhibition I remember you at Carriageworks. The workshop was inspired by Salote’s focus on identity and memories.

During the 2-hour workshop, families went on a guided experience of Salote’s exhibition and connected to their own memories to make a sculpture using everyday materials similar to the artists such as paper and cardboard.
